This is a website I built for a self-directed studies project that showcases eight Offbeat Trance artists that are on top of their game in the Electronic Dance Music scene.
Offbeat Trance is a sub genre in Trance with a BPM range of 132 to 140. Artists that create this style of music tend to incorporate productions that focus on emphasizing powerful snappy kicks, deep basslines, intricate melodies, psychedelic effects and a wide range of percussions.
Each artist profile showcases an art piece that has been manipulated into one of George Dawe’s 1800 Russian paintings of generals. On each artist page users can find information about the artist’s given name, location, record label, biography, top ten tracks, interview links, social networks and live footage.
